Lots of good thinking gets done in the shower. This morning it was 1) how the mousetrap worked and now I have to deal with it working and how my box theory wasn't as good as I expected 2) how my sister is driving here for fall break and I had to send her directions to town and 3) how good that squash was.
Then I realized, horrified, where the inspiration for the goat cheese and squash came from ! E's Sept 24 post! So, I was much less creative (no figs) but clearly inspired. So, thank you, m'am.

Girl, that's what we're all here for. The blog is a success! :)
That reminds me of how my mother (who hates to cook) says she got accidental inspiration for our dinners growing up - she'd look at the public school lunch menu magneted to our fridge and unwittingly reflect it in her food. It was always a little odd to have corn dogs for lunch and then again for dinner....
And I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets good thinking done in the shower.
Bojangles. Too bad we don't have that recipe... I'm going to the WFU game next Saturday. There will be tailgating.
What is Bojangles? All I can think of is the fried chicken fast-food place. Are you talking about something different?
I like to fake the Southern accent and manner at times (when drunk, esp.), but instances like this one reveal my true heritage of being from Northern Virginia (emphasis on the Northern).
And for a second there I thought the "squash" reference was to the hurting UVA put on UNC last night. My bad.
easy. we can't help we're really bad.
